How we collect, use, and protect your information — and how consent works on this site.
1.0 Who we are
gtmfornoobs ("gtmfornoobs," "we," "us") is a go-to-market engineering agency. This policy covers personal information collected through this website. It does not govern data we process while delivering client engagements — that is handled under the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) executed with each client, in the client's own tools and accounts.

2.0 What we collect
- Information you give us: contact-form and brief submissions (name, work email, company, URL, stage/ARR range, what you're working on), scheduling details when you book a call, and newsletter signups.
- Information collected automatically: device/browser data, pages viewed, referring source, and approximate location, via the tools in §4–5.
We do not ask for sensitive categories of data; please don't submit them in free-text fields.
3.0 How we use it
To respond to inquiries and scope engagements; to operate, secure, and improve the site; to measure marketing and understand which companies and visitors are interested in our services; and to send communications you've asked for (and, where permitted, relevant follow-up). We rely on your consent (where required), our legitimate interest in running the business, and steps taken at your request.
4.0 Analytics, advertising & visitor identification
We use the tools below. In the EU/UK/Switzerland they load only after you opt in; in the US they run under an opt-out model (see §5). Change your choice anytime via .
- Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager (Google) — traffic/usage measurement; GTM loads and governs the other tags.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — session replay and heatmaps. Sessions may be recorded; sensitive fields are masked.
- Snitcher — identifies the company/organization behind a visit (firmographic), not the individual. Sets a
SNIDcookie (2-year lifetime). - RB2B — identifies certain individual US-based professional visitors and may associate a visit with business-contact information. This is the most identifying tool we use, US visitors only:
Opt out via or privacy@gtmfornoobs.com.When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses.
- Meta Pixel (Meta) — an advertising/measurement pixel used to gauge, and where permitted deliver, marketing. Sets
_fbp. Runs under the Advertising consent category.

7.0 Data retention
Contact/brief and scheduling data: kept as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business records, then deleted/anonymized. Analytics & identification data follow each provider's retention settings. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
8.0 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@gtmfornoobs.com; we won't discriminate against you for asking.
9.0 International transfers
US-hosted. For EU/UK personal data we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (available to clients on request) or another lawful mechanism.
10.0 Children
Not directed to anyone under 18; we don't knowingly collect their information.
11.0 Changes
Updates posted here with a new "last updated" date and version; material changes affecting subscribers are emailed.
